Butterfly Tattoos

Butterflies have a common theme of art since the first appeared in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs in 3500. It is therefore surprising that the butterflies tattoo designs on a large scale today. Butterflies are especially popular with women as they consider it to be a symbol of the feminine.
In many cultures, butterflies are the soul. In Japanese culture, for example, believed that relatives of the dead may visit the living as butterflies. So, we see a butterfly and one is usually a good omen. However, if you see a swarm of butterflies, a bad omen.
